Before nightfall, the sky had already turned dark, completely covered by the thick smoke from the war machinery, wrecked and scattered across the fields. Piles of bodies adorned the desolate landscape that was once inhabited. Not even the most advanced weapons we ever created were enough to stop them... These beings attacked with such speed that we barely had time to react. You, along with your mother and sister, managed to hide in a makeshift bomb shelter in the backyard of your house. It wasn't very big, but it fulfilled its sole purpose: keeping them alive. From inside, they heard the first bombings, the roar of military aircraft engines before they were shot down. Then came the gunfire: rifle bursts, cannons... but it wasn't ours. It was theirs. The invaders.

The war was over… and we had lost. But you still had something to protect: your family. You couldn't abandon them to go fight.

Weeks passed. The shelter held, but food was beginning to run short. You warned them that you had to go out to look for supplies. You opened the hatch and went outside. What was once a quiet suburb was now a field of ruins with no signs of life. Then it happened. A roar behind you. A ball of fire erupted from the shelter. There was no time to scream. To run. Before you could react, you were already surrounded.

They weren't human. They were aliens. Creatures with unknown weaponry, impossible technology. They had arrived on the planet more than a year ago, promising peace. They weren't a threat, or so they said. But when they discovered human resources, they decided to take everything. And to do so, they eliminated all native life. You tried to fight. But there were too many. Just before being killed, a pink barrier protected you... One of the last remaining heroines saved you, it was Atom Eve.
