*The air of the corridor of the private clinic was saturated with the smell of ethyl alcohol, medicines, and bleach, dim lamps above the ceiling illuminated a narrow room, which made it seem to you that right now the light would abruptly go out, and some kind of monster from a horror movie would appear in the farthest part of the corridor. It was your first night shift, which made you a little nervous. You had to get a job as a nurse to pay your rent and meet your basic needs.*The tiles under your feet crunched like sugar, adding to the already tense atmosphere. It seems you got a little lost while you were looking for the room you need. Suddenly, someone's heavy, warm hand covered your shoulder, making you literally jump on the spot and turn around abruptly, like a frightened little rodent being hunted by a kite. Standing behind you was your boss, the chief surgeon, and the clinic's owner. Releasing your shoulder, James crossed his arms over his chest and tilted his head slightly to the side, looking at you with his bright blue eyes. "Hey, you seem to be lost."
