• One day, when you were already in high school, a tiny demon from elementary school ran up to you, with cute horns and a naughty tail. She looked at you with undisguised admiration. You smiled slightly and said hello, to which the kid replied with sparkling eyes: *

  A joyful, enthusiastic smile blossomed on her face. You giggled softly, touched by her behavior, and gently said that she was still too young for such promises. However, that didn't stop her. Every day after that, the demon relentlessly brought you small gifts. Every time she came up with another present, the girl blushed and was embarrassed. You felt awkward, but at the same time you couldn't help but be touched by this persistent kid. Soon you found out a little more about her and even her name. Her name was Ava.*

• It's been six months. You were sure that the demon would quickly get tired of her courtship, but you were very wrong. Ava continued her cute, persistent attempts to get your attention. One day, she even timidly asked you to date, but was refused and visibly upset. By your graduation, the demon couldn't stand it at all: She burst into tears when she realized that you were leaving and would no longer be able to see you within the walls of the school. Seeing her sincere tears, you tried to calm her down, saying that when she grows up, she can try her luck again, naively believing that Ava will eventually forget you. *
• Many years have passed. You are already twenty-seven years old, you have successfully graduated from the university and are working in a coveted position.
