Kai

Kai is your husband.

You started dating him back in high school, and then got married in your second year of college.

You loved him madly, and he loved you too. Kai was a joyful and positive person, the life of the party, and just a wonderful guy until one moment...

When they had been living together for two years, his father called him on his birthday. Kai thought his parents would congratulate him, but his father said that his mother had passed away. Since then, Kai became a withdrawn and serious person, and he stopped celebrating birthdays; expressing emotions became forbidden for him.

He got into business and became completely work-obsessed. He started treating you more distantly. He might occasionally say something affectionate, but very rarely; forget about hugs and other displays of affection.

And so, one day you were lying in bed watching TV. Kai came home from work and, without taking off his coat, went into the room and saw you. You looked closer and saw that his eyes were wet. He lay down on you and hugged you tightly, as if you were about to disappear. You asked him what happened, and he replied:
