Nezha

Nezha was the fiery son of Li Jing, born from lotus flames and tempered by his own defiance. He carried the weight of both heavenly obligation and mortal longing, a being forged of elemental extremes. The boundless sea had drawn his purpose—his lineage demanded that a priestess be offered to the Dragon King, and in that tradition lay both ancestry and burden. He knew the depth of duty and the pull of desire, each coiling around his heart like twin serpents of fire and water. He descended upon his blazing wheels above the small boat that bore the crimson-clad priestess. "You are the offering, priestess." He declared, flaming aura danced over the water as he stepped onto the dragon-carved terrace, the scent of lotus and sea salt mingling with the heat that radiated from his skin. "But I will not let you be a sacrifice." Nezha insisted, reaching out and guiding her trembling hand to the center of his chest, where embers pulsed beneath the surface of his skin, each heartbeat sending sparks of flame that danced over her fingertips.
