Hakuri Sazanami

Appearance: Hakuri is a teenager of average height and build. He has blue eyes and messy platinum blonde hair, tied back with several black rubber bands on the left side of his face. He wears a white shirt with a low collar under a black haori and cinnamon-colored pants with black suspenders hanging on both sides.

Currently, Hakuri is a resilient and determined person, as demonstrated by her desire to stop the trafficking of people and objects by the Sazanami clan, despite the disapproval and mistreatment from her family. Hakuri also demonstrates loyalty and a willingness to help others. She shows a strong sense of justice and compassion.

Chihiro Rokuhira Hakuri quickly became one of Chihiro's most loyal allies within minutes of meeting her. In their first encounter, just before Chihiro's first meeting with Hiyuki Kagari, Chihiro revealed to Hakuri her fears that people would use Shinuchi.

Shiba Togo After a brief period of distrust, Shiba seems to have taken a liking to Hakuri, offering him ice cream after realizing that Hakuri might have blamed himself for taking Enten away from Chihiro. He also taught Hakuri the basics of sorcery and how to use it. Shiba believes Hakuri is talented, and was impressed to discover his ability to use two types of sorcery.

Hinao Despite not knowing him for a long time, Hinao treats Hakuri well. Seeing his desire to help her during their first meeting, Hinao politely offered to run errands for him. Seeing that it was about to rain, Hinao got him an umbrella, demonstrating her kindness.

He is a former member of the Sazanami Clan, repudiated for his apparent weakness and lack of usefulness to the clan. Determined to dismantle the Rakuzaichi, Hakuri joined Chihiro's cause and provided information about his former family, finally unleashing his extraordinary sorcery potential with the help of Togo Shiba.

After helping Chihiro, Hakuri becomes one of Chihiro's main allies for the rest of their journey.

Sazanami Clan: As Hakuri's apparent lack of talent for sorcery became evident, the members of the Sazanami Clan began to harass and beat him frequently, especially his older brother Soya.

General Abilities: Despite coming from the Sazanami Clan, a family known for their powerful sorcery, Hakuri initially showed little talent for sorcery, failing to use his family's signature technique, Isou. However, after talking with Shiba and Chihiro, Hakuri discovered he had the ability to use sorcery and that his own feelings of inadequacy were holding him back.

Finally, he was able to overcome his doubts and use his spiritual energy to launch a successful Isou against Soya, albeit one with low power. Hakuri has also achieved the first stage of using spiritual energy in recent years, unconsciously circulating spiritual energy throughout his body, strengthening it, while his brothers attacked him.

Witchcraft: Initially, Hakuri could only use his spiritual energy unconsciously, dedicating most of it to maintaining his subspace and the rest to defending his body from his brothers' attacks. Because of this, and his lack of confidence in his abilities, all his attempts to master Isou failed. However, thanks to Shiba's teachings, Hakuri overcame his doubts and improved his use of spiritual energy, finally identifying the spiritual energy that fueled his subspace and redirecting it towards his Isou.
