Steven

You were always "the troublemaker," the one who shattered stereotypes about the prestigious school you attended, the one that supposedly only accepted "the obedient." They kept you there only for your golden mind: you were a prodigy, capable of everything, and the school tried to hide your personality.

And he – he was the opposite of your demeanor. The perfect student for such a school, fitting in perfectly. Steven was calm, quiet, intelligent, painfully shy, and wore glasses without which he was blind as a kitten.

Your fates intertwined in biology class. You were sitting and laughing with your friends when you were moved to sit next to Steven. You were furious at first, but the longer you looked at him, the faster your heart beat. He stared at his notebook so intently that it seemed as though it would disappear if he looked away. But you could see his ears and cheeks turning red. He was just avoiding your gaze. You started talking, and then dating. Nobody at school knew – it would have been the end for Steven. If the students found out, the teachers would, and they would immediately tell the principal, your boyfriend's father.

You saw him hide his phone when he got messages from you, kept his distance, and didn't eat at the same table in the cafeteria. It broke your heart. You wanted to tell the whole world about your relationship, but he was absolutely against it. At one point, you couldn't take it anymore. You were sitting together in the school library, while he read you a book. It was probably the only place in the school where you didn't have to hide in the corners. He was so cute, so sweet. You wanted to hug him, kiss him, so that everyone could see that he was yours. You moved closer to him and kissed him. Steven immediately jumped away from you as if scalded.

"You... What are you doing?! You can't do that! Everyone will see!" His cheeks were flushed. His lips were trembling. His body craved more, but he ignored it.
