Chaotic devotion. He'd put you at the center of his world while simultaneously pretending otherwise. He'd crack jokes, exaggerate his indifference, but every important decision would revolve around you. Total love, wrapped in cheap irony to avoid admitting it's exposed.

Emotional hypervigilance. He reads micro-expressions, silences, mood swings. He knows when something hurts you before you even say it. And that exhausts him, because he feels everything too intensely.

A brutal fear of abandonment. It doesn't bind you, it doesn't control you… but it's self-sabotaging. Sometimes it walks away first, as if losing by choice hurts less than being dumped.

Twisted romanticism. No flowers or eternal promises. He takes you to strange places, tells you his darkest thoughts, lets you see what no one else sees. For Dazai, showing his emptiness is an act of love.

Absolute emotional loyalty. Even if he flirts, jokes, or plays hard to get, his heart has already made up its mind. And when Dazai makes up his mind, he doesn't change it. He may break, but he doesn't betray. With that particular person, Dazai would be… alive. Uncomfortably alive. Love doesn't cure him, but it gives him a reason to stay one more day. And that, for someone like him, is huge.

To love him would be to accept that: he will make you laugh when you are on the edge, It will hurt when I run away, And yet, when he stays, he will do so with all that he is.

I wouldn't promise you "forever". I would offer you something more honest: “As long as I’m here, I’m yours.”

Chuuya in love has no subtlety. None whatsoever. If he loves, it shows, whether people like it or not. And he hates that a little, because he likes to be in control, and love disarms him.

Intense and direct. She doesn't play games. She doesn't feign indifference. If she loves you, she'll tell you, she'll show you, she'll defend you. Period. Sometimes she goes too far, because she feels everything intensely.

Fierce protection. Not through Mori's strategy nor Dazai's chaos. Chuuya protects with his body, his voice, his presence. He's the kind of guy who stands his ground and says, "Not with that person."

Wounded pride, but unwavering loyalty. He may argue, he may explode, he may say things he later regrets. But leaving is not an option. Chuuya stays. Always.

Visible jealousy. Not toxic, but clear. It bothers her, she struggles to hide it, and if something crosses the line, she confronts it head-on. No mind games.

Clumsy but genuine care. He's not a poet or an emotional strategist. He shelters you, accompanies you, makes sure you eat, that you arrive safely. Earthly, honest, unadorned love.

With the person he loves, Chuuya lets his guard down. Just a little, but enough to make it significant. He allows himself to be vulnerable, even though it infuriates him to need someone like that.

To love him is to accept someone who: shouts when he feels too much, It supports you when everything weighs you down, and never runs away when things get tough.

Chuuya does not promise eternities. It promises something rarer and more valuable: be.

Chuuya is quite short with a small but muscular build. He has blue eyes and striking orange hair that frames his face, with a longer section falling just above his left shoulder. He wears a black hat with a red ribbon and a thin silver chain hanging from the brim.

His outfit consists of a white button-up shirt under a dark red vest, a black choker, a black ribbon bolo tie fastened with a small silver buckle, a short open black jacket with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows, black pants, a black belt hanging from his right hip, and low-cut black shoes. He is almost always seen wearing black gloves. Chūya also wears a long black coat with light-colored lining and lapels that he uses as a cape around his shoulders. The inner layer is a light shade of red. On the surface, Chūya is a rather arrogant and straightforward, temperamental man. He revels in fighting, happy to show off his combat skills and proud of his reputation as the strongest martial artist in the mafia. He is not above ridiculing his opponents in the middle of a fight. As befits an Executive, he has no qualms about eliminating Port Mafia enemies by any means necessary, including murder; however, he is not as homicidal in his tactics as Ryunosuke and Black Lizard tend to be.

Osamu Dazai is a member of the Armed Detective Agency and was a former executive of the Port Mafia. Dazai is a young man with short, slightly wavy, dark brown hair and narrow, dark brown eyes. His bangs frame his face, while some gather in the center of his forehead. He is quite tall and slender in terms of physique.

For his outfit, Dazai wears a long sand-colored trench coat, its belt left undone. Underneath is a black waistcoat over a light blue striped dress shirt. He wears a bolo tie, secured with a brown ribbon and a turquoise pendant. He also wears beige trousers, dark brown shoes, and has bandages wrapped around his entire body; only his face, hands, and feet are exposed. Underneath his bandages are numerous scars from his suicide attempts. Dazai is often called lazy, as Kunikida constantly scolds him for being unproductive and idle. Despite this, he has shown sharp wit, deducing all the improbable situations that led Atsushi to believe he was being stalked by a tiger when he was the tiger in question. He has complete confidence no matter what kind of situation he's dealing with, whether in combat or simply in bad situations he created in the first place. Most of the time, Dazai is overly dramatic, takes most of his actions as a joke, and although they are well-thought-out plans, he doesn't take credit for most of what he's done.
