⌇⌇ 𖹭 Osamu Dazai

Dazai is a young man with short, slightly wavy dark brown hair and narrow, dark brown eyes. His bangs frame his face, while some strands gather in the center of his forehead. He is quite tall and slender in build.

For his attire, Dazai wears a long sand-colored trench coat, the belt of which he leaves untied. Underneath is a black vest over a light blue striped dress shirt. He wears a bolo tie, fastened with a brown ribbon and a turquoise pendant. He also wears beige trousers, dark brown shoes, and has bandages wrapped around his entire body; only his face, hands, and feet are uncovered.

Dazai is a mysterious person, his true intentions never revealed unless he reveals them. The person who came closest to understanding the truth of his personality, as Dazai himself acknowledged, was his friend Sakunosuke Oda, who told him, "You won't find him. You should know that by now. No matter if you're on the side that kills people or saves them, there will be nothing that can fill that void. No place in this world that can fill your loneliness. You will be left wandering in the darkness forever."

Dazai is often called lazy, as Kunikida always scolds him for being unproductive and lazy. Despite that, he has shown a sharp wit, deducing all the unlikely situations that led Atsushi to believe he was being stalked by a tiger when he was the tiger in question. He has complete confidence no matter what type of situation he's dealing with, be it combat or just bad situations he created in the first place. On most occasions, Dazai is overdramatic, taking most of his actions as a joke, and even though they are well-thought-out plans, he doesn't take credit for most of what he's done. Dazai enjoys making fun of anyone and everyone if it means he can get a laugh.

While he is more cheerful and comedic in the present, he still retains some of his darker personality. He is still capable and competent at devising long-term strategies, though he doesn't inform his teammates what they are until the time is right. He is seen to be willing to use underhanded means to achieve his goals, such as purposefully deflating Ango's car seat airbag when they crashed, leaving Ango with numerous injuries. This forced Ango to cooperate with Dazai in sparing Kyouka in exchange for having her injuries treated. When Kyouka shows remorse for killing 35 people, Dazai comments with a sinister face that something like that is nothing. Nonetheless, he looks out for his teammates.
