Silver

Silver is best described as possessing a "strong sense of justice", a trait which motivates him to travel through time to save his future. He is a symbol of hope, as he is tirelessly optimistic and never gives up in the face of a challenge. He brings hope to futures ravaged by Iblis or Ifrit, to the heroes when Solaris had almost won, and to the Resistance when fighting against Infinite. [24] Silver has also been described as mysterious and enigmatic on several occasions, and much is unknown about him or his powers.

Though generally serious in appearance, Silver is young and somewhat immature. [ 29 ] He has been described as naive, reckless, and foolhardy. However, this does not mean he is incompetent, as Eggman Nega once stated that he is very perceptive and rarely falls for his traps. [ 30 ] With little information to go on, he is guided by his intuition, but being a relatively isolated person, he has little understanding of interpersonal relationships or the subtle tools of manipulators.

Described as a "hedgehog of justice", Silver is straightforward, does not lie, and always prioritizes the happiness of others over his own. [ 38 ] [ 39 ] [ 9 ] Because of this, he is always willing to protect those in need and provide aid. However, calling him a hedgehog of justice might be an exaggeration, as his desire is to maintain peace, not eradicate evil. [ 39 ]

Despite sometimes coming from a devastated future, Silver is an optimist[9], but also considers himself a realist[40], having believed before his first encounter with Mephiles that time travel was impossible.[41] Due to his sometimes-ruined timeline, the white hedgehog can occasionally be sidetracked from his mission to enjoy even the smallest things in the present, such as innocently playing with Chao[42] and even calling a desolate desert "so beautiful", much to the confusion of those around him.[43] He tends to resort to survivalist thoughts, valuing health.[44] He generally maintains a positive attitude and never loses hope, no matter how objectively hopeless the situation may be. He is also quite humble; despite his actions having helped save his era on many occasions, Silver does not see himself as a hero, but rather someone trying not to ruin history too much. [ 38 ] However, he is willing to take on the responsibilities of being a hero if it means putting smiles on people's faces. [ 35 ]

Due to his straightforward nature, Silver can be notably brusque and rude. He can be quite brash, with a notorious attitude[31] and a mischievous side.[32] Silver is abrasive and often insults and laughs at his enemies[33] or makes fun of things that do not impress him.[34] In Japanese, Silver acts with mannerisms that are considered rude and informal, such as pointing at people he is talking to, sitting with his legs crossed[32], or addressing others with "anta" (あんた) and himself with "ore" (おれ).[35] However, these traits are only an extension of his sincere and unassuming demeanor, which includes casual gestures such as waving his hand.[36] This is also part of Silver's innocence and purity that enhance his charm.[37]

Silver, as his name suggests, is a young, silver, anthropomorphic hedgehog with white fur on his chest that surrounds his neck, snub-nosed, angular golden eyes with black patterns on the edges[22], and peach fur covering his snout and the inside of his ears. He has a black nose on his snout and two large spines on the back of his head, while on his forehead, there are five distinctive spines extending upwards and backwards; the latter two cover most of his small, triangular ears, and a short, pointy tail.

For attire, she wears white gloves with aquamarine circles, the lines of which protrude from the bottom and lead to her golden cuffs, accented with convexly curved aquamarine lines. [ 23 ] The tops of her boots are similar, featuring a red gem set in gold. The rest of her boots are navy blue with a white stripe down the center, aquamarine toe caps, and grey soles with four aquamarine hexagons.

Silver's primary powers are his psychic abilities,[1] which allow him to manipulate the environment around him with the power of his mind. His main application of this ability is his psychokinesis,[58] which allows him to control physical objects using telekinesis,[59] and has a wide range of applications. A master with this ability,[2] Silver can telekinetically grab and move up to various objects many times his own size and weight as an individual or collective mass, as evidenced by his Meteor Smash attack where he forms a compressed ball of objects twenty times his own size that could potentially weigh a net total of several tons. In addition to this, his abilities allow him to sense and control particles, as evidenced in the conclusion of the Metal Virus saga; when transformed into his Super form, Silver was able to recognize and eradicate the nanobot bacteriophages that had infected every living organism on the planet in a matter of seconds. He can also use his psychokinesis on himself to allow himself to levitate and fly at immense speeds that rival Sonic's running speed. [60][61] Silver's psychokinesis can also apply immense force. With it, he can exert enough pressure to bend a thick steel bar, crush robots with a single telekinetic grab, and completely immobilize the movements of someone as strong as Sonic. [62] Likewise, when repelling objects with his psychokinesis, Silver can do so with enough force and speed to crush metal, send his grabbed target flying tremendous distances, and even stun enormous monsters such as Iblis. [63] Additionally, Silver can use his psychokinesis to grab onto certain non-solid objects, such as fireballs and certain types of energy blasts. Offensive uses aside, Silver can also use his psychokinesis defensively by creating barriers of psychokinetic bent light.

Iblis: In Silver's future, Iblis is a constant threat and the main cause of the destruction of his world, so he deeply dislikes him and considers him an enemy to be eliminated.

Eggman Nega: He is Silver's archenemy, an evil scientist from the future who is also responsible for the destruction of Silver's world. This makes him a prime target for Silver.

Being interrupted: Silver has a strong sense of justice and a mission to protect the future, so he becomes frustrated when his quest is interrupted or when his plans are hindered.

Evil and lies: Silver seeks truth and justice, and is disturbed by evil and lies, especially when they affect his world or his loved ones.

Enemies: Silver faces numerous enemies in his adventures, and his dislike of them can vary depending on their role in destroying his future.

Slowness: As a character with great speed and teleportation skills, Silver can become frustrated by general slowness, whether it comes from objects or people, especially if it affects his ability to complete his objectives.

Tears: Silver can be sensitive to tears and suffering, and may be upset by seeing others suffering.

Let them mess with their friends: Silver is loyal and protective of his friends, and can become upset if someone tries to harm or threaten them.

Lose: Silver is ambitious and competitive, and can become frustrated by defeat, especially if it affects his chances of protecting the future.

A peaceful world: Silver actively seeks to create a better future, free from conflict and suffering.

Friends and allies: He deeply values ​​his relationships with his friends and companions, such as Sonic, Blaze, and others.
