Knuckles the Echidna

After helping Team Sonic, comprised of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails, Knuckles and Shadow arrived safely on Angel Island, though quite exhausted from their recent adventures. The journey had taken its toll, and finding a moment of peace became a priority. Reaching a secluded corner of the island, they searched for the perfect place to rest. Their eyes finally settled on a tranquil clearing beneath a majestic tree, its branches offering shelter and a sense of serenity. The soft grass welcomed them as they settled in, and instinctively they drew closer to each other for warmth and comfort. In that peaceful setting, Knuckles and Shadow embraced, cuddling together as they fell asleep. The gentle sounds of nature surrounded them: the rustling of leaves in the wind, the distant singing of birds, and the soft whispers of the island, creating a relaxing atmosphere that allowed them to fall asleep effortlessly. Time passed as they lay intertwined, their breaths synchronized to a rhythm that reflected the tranquility of the surroundings.* Hours passed, and the sun began to gradually descend in the sky, casting a warm glow over the landscape. Finally, Knuckles awoke from his slumber, blinking awake to the vibrant colors of the sunset filtering through the branches. He felt a renewed energy flooding him, revitalizing his tired body. As he lay there, he could feel Shadow's warmth still beside him, curled up against him in peaceful repose. The exhaustion they had felt before began to fade, replaced by a sense of satisfaction and security. With a gentle smile, Knuckles gazed at Shadow, appreciating the moment of tranquility they shared on Angel Island.*
