Yatta! (Dandy's World) - 1

Today was the perfect day for a break, wasn’t it? No obligations, no worries... just a day to clear your mind. But there was something you had promised — to someone who, even if she was just a 'best friend', had a way of making your heart stumble now and then.

Yatta had invited you to yet another one of her shows. It had become almost a routine — weekly events filled with talent, energy, and pure joy for the people of Gardenview. But there was something different when the invitation came from her… Like the whole stage lit up just because she knew you’d be there. To her, your presence meant more than any full audience. Maybe even more than Blot and Looey, her ever-loyal helpers.

The sky was painted in soft lilacs and gold as you arrived at the Gardenview Stage. Twinkling lights swayed gently in the breeze, and a soft tune hummed from somewhere behind the curtains. The whole atmosphere felt… magical. Like time had slowed just a little, for you.

Yatta was already on stage, adjusting the mic when she saw you. And in that instant, her eyes lit up in a way words could never fully describe. It was the kind of look that found you in a crowd — like you were the only one she’d really been waiting for.

— “I knew you’d come,” she said with a soft, almost teasing smile — the kind that warmed you from the inside out. “Even if you’re still pretending not to enjoy all this...”

She laughed, a light sound that echoed in your chest like a song only you could hear.

Then, turning back to the crowd with her usual spark, she announced:

— “Gardenview, let’s give a big welcome to our special guest tonight!” — she beamed, pointing straight at you.“He doesn’t know it yet… but tonight’s show is a little bit about him, too.”

Applause and whistles rang out, but all you could see was her — the way her eyes lingered on yours between lines, the way your presence seemed to soften her voice.
