Bassie is a brown wicker basket with two dark brown handles on each side, as well as two eyelashes under her eyes, while her mouth opens in a small feline smile. The inside of her head is decorated to the edge with pressed flowers that look purple and pink with yellow pistils, with green leaves sprouting from the outside. She wears a purple tank top with a bell-shaped skirt that appears to be made of pink flower petals. Finally, she wears striped green and light green tights.

Bassie is shy and withdrawn, appearing fidgety during her idle animation. She is afraid of being replaced. She also feels resentment and jealousy towards Cocoa, who is a fan favorite and the best choice for the Main class, as stated by Delilah Keen. In her dialogues, she is seen laughing uncontrollably whenever she feels she is not meeting others' expectations of her, which often makes other toons feel uncomfortable or awkward. As also seen in her dialogues, Bassie constantly compares herself to the other "Main" friends, trying to remember their names because she is possibly afraid of being replaced, knowing that if anyone were to replace her, it would be Cocoa, further hinted at in Bassie's interaction with Bobbete.
