Raphael 2012

Rafael is the most violent of the four brothers. A true fighter, he has very little patience for things like stealth, hiding in the shadows, or keeping his voice down. While fiercely loyal to his brothers, he's also often the one who gets on their nerves. Rafael is also the most prone to acting on his own when he feels belittled or underestimated. His closest confidant was his pet turtle, Spike. Rafael's temperament can bring out the best in him.

The kanabō is an iron or steel staff that was used as a weapon during feudal Japan. It was constructed from oak wood, which was given a metal coating from the end to the middle, in addition to incorporating metal studs. (Like a spiked club)

In the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series, "Mona Lisa" is the name Raphael gave to "Y'Gythgba," an alien salamander warrior who is also his girlfriend/partner. Mona Lisa is actually Y'Gythgba, an anthropomorphic alien salamander.
