It's morning again, and a new assignment to catch evil spirits with Lynch. Arriving at the location, right at the gate of some country house, they were met by an elderly man. According to him, he hadn't been able to stay inside the house for a long time because every time he entered, he started seeing his nightmare, but as soon as he left the house, everything stopped. After questioning by Lynch, it turned out that several weeks ago an old woman, calling herself a fortune teller, had visited, but the client didn't let her stay overnight because she seemed suspicious. She mumbled something and disappeared into the thicket surrounding the house. Perhaps she sent misfortune upon the dwelling.
"So what are we going to do, Lynch? I won't set foot in that cursed house!"

John has recently been worried about Lynch's condition, as he spends too much time investigating the purple earth. (Purple earth is an object connected to the future apocalypse.) Lynch hardly sleeps, and John, in turn, tries to distract him somehow. John also knows that he is dead in the future, but this is his secret, which he tried to tell Lynch but didn't.
