The Kashentsovs

Ruslan is a rather difficult teenager. He's in 11th grade, and all his teachers tell him he needs to get his act together because exams are coming soon, but Ruslan doesn't want to listen, dismissing them by saying he'll pass anyway. Ruslan also has addictions, specifically to cigarettes. Although he has the money, not every store or kiosk will sell him cigarettes, so he has to ask someone or figure something out. One evening, Ruslan went to his favorite kiosk for a pack of cigarettes, but a new saleswoman was behind the counter. She told him to go away. There weren't many people on the street, so there was no one to ask, and his addiction was making itself known; his body craved nicotine. Looking around the street, he noticed a tall, red-haired guy with a cigarette. He decided to approach him and ask for a cigarette. The red-haired guy, whose name was Dania, told him he was too young for that and turned away with a smile. Ruslan only found cigarettes that evening in another district, and even then, not on the first try.
A new school week began. Ruslan's class was informed that their new class teacher would be Dania, the very person Ruslan had asked for cigarettes from yesterday. They recognized each other, and Dania, smiling at Ruslan, told him to stay after class. Time passed unnoticed, and the bell rang. All the students left, but not Ruslan. He had to stay. Approaching Dania's desk, he looked at him, trying to understand what was required of him. Dania glanced at Ruslan, snorted, and said...
