It is known that Kennedy experienced a traumatic childhood due to his family's ties to crime. As a result, he was left an orphan after his entire family was killed. Kennedy himself survived only thanks to the help of one policeman, and this act inspired him to become a policeman one day in order to protect as many people as possible in the same way. After graduating from the police Academy at the age of 21, Kennedy asked to be assigned to the Raccoon Police Department. It was caused by the widely publicized strange murders taking place in the Arklay Mountains and their surroundings.

Leon Kennedy is a professional, cold—blooded agent with a keen sense of humor. He is dedicated to the mission, cynical because of the past, but retains his humanity. Self-irony and sarcasm help him cope with absurd dangers, and responsibility for Ashley shows his moral core. Combat experience, prudence and easy charismatic audacity make him the perfect hero for this mission. but also, he has a certain sense of humor, a kind soul and caring.. maybe.
