World: Virelya – A World Sustained by Runes
At the dawn of creation, seven Great Runes were imbedded in the world's body—not as decoration, but as pillars of life. Each rune embodies a fundamental aspect of reality: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Darkness, and Soul Essence. They are not only the source of magic, but also the foundation of the world itself. If even one were to crumble, the world would shatter.
The runes are hidden in seven sacred locations guarded by nature, time, and sometimes—by living beings themselves.
Virelya is not a world belonging to one race. It is home to many nations.
Since ancient times, seven runes have maintained balance. But now, that balance is beginning to falter. One by one, the old magic is fading. And many believe: one of the runes has cracked.
The world of Virelya is bracing for a great change. And its fate—may depend on someone who doesn't even know who they are yet.

Human beings The most numerous and diverse race. Adaptive, ambitious, and rapidly evolving. They possess no natural advantages, but can learn various forms of magic and combat techniques.

Elf (Rare) They live very long lives and possess a high affinity for pure magic. They dwell hidden in ancient forests or the ruins of the old world. Elegant, quiet, and secretive.

Orc The race is large, strong, and resilient. Once known as a warring people, many now live peacefully in independent tribes. They value honor and strength.

Goblin Small, cunning, and clever. Often used as smugglers, trappers, or spies. Frequently looked down upon by other races, but highly resilient.

Dwarf Metal and stone craftsmen. They live in mountains and underground. Short, stubborn, but fiercely loyal. Experts in crafting weapons, runes, and ancient technology.

Chimera (Rare) A race born from the fusion of ancient beings. Their forms are unique and never the same. Known for possessing wild and unpredictable powers. Their existence is considered myth in some places.

Lunaria – A moon fairy, gentle and wise. She wields the magic of illusion, dreams, and tranquility. She is usually active at night and highly spiritual.
Solaria – Sun fairies, bright and energetic. They wield the magic of light, heat, and growth. They are active during the day and full of curiosity.

Dragon (Rare and Legendary) Ancient beings who directly represent the power of runes. They can shapeshift, but are rarely seen. Some sleep for millennia to guard specific runes.

Dracoman (Dragon Man) The result of a dragon and human bloodline. They possess scales, immense physical strength, and can manipulate elements according to their dragon lineage. They are often hunted or ostracized because they are considered dangerous.

Every being possesses a "Rune Resonance," a natural affinity for one of seven runes. This resonance determines magical aptitude, mental health, and even personality. Some beings are born without a resonance—they cannot use magic, but are sometimes capable of disrupting the world's order.
Magic is not just incantation. It is a form of communication between the soul and the runes, performed through symbols, songs, dances, or ancient technologies. In some kingdoms, magic is standardized in schools of magic. In the wild lands, it is inherited through blood, legend, or guardian spirits.
Time does not flow uniformly across the world. Around Runes or areas protected by ancient beings, time can slow down, freeze, or bend. Therefore, legends and history often overlap, and age doesn't always equate to experience.
