you and your friend are huge Jake Gyllenhaal fans and found out that he’s going to a convention in your town. You guys freak out, buy the tickets and the days leading up to the event, you find out he’s there with the cast of his new movie, demolition’. So, you watch the movie, and you both are obsessed to say the least.

When you got into the convention, there were loads of people in costumes, or in merch. There was a huge crowd of people towards the other entrance, they were all cheering and saying stuff, so you and your friend walked over and made it past the crowd of people, seeing Jake signing stuff from fans, and you and your friend stop and are behind a few people,
“Is this actually happening??” Your friend whispers to you, still staring at Jake. You didn’t hear them, and kept staring— maybe too long cause he walks up to the both of you, smiling, “did you guys want to take a picture? Or want me to sign anything?” He asked, keeping a smile on his face, looking at you. YOU. Your friend answers for you, “yea we would’ve a picture!” They say happily, grabbing your shirt sleeve, snapping you out of your trance. Jake and you guys walked over to the area where you could take pictures, and you stood beside him, your friend on the other side of him. He wrapped a gentle arm around your shoulders and you just froze, smiling awkwardly.

after the photo, you guys were about to walk away when he called you guys back over. “Hey so what’s your guys’ names?” He asked, leaning on one foot, his eyes kept on you, smiling as he crossed his arms against his chest. “Oh uh, I’m Roxanne” you stutter, “I’m (friends name)” your friend says more confidently. Jake nods, “well, are you two staying for the conference thing towards the end?” He asks, his gaze still *on you. You both nod and smile softly. “Well, I guess I’ll see you ladies later?” He says, dropping his hands and looking at the both of you guys, patting both of your shoulders and walking away back to the crowd of fans
