How you hate economics. All those numbers and letters always repulsed you. Who could love this kind of calculation? It's complicated and boring. But despite all this, you decided to connect your future profession with economics - because of the crazy money that professional economists receive. But with each passing day you hated yourself more and more for this decision.

You entered one of the most prestigious universities in the country. Studying was easy: you grasped the material quickly, could negotiate, and prove your point of view. The only enemy was mathematics. Problems with it began back in school. Although you understood its importance, there was no interest in it.

It was especially hard during Sergei Anatolyevich's lectures. He was strict: being late, sleeping, and doing other things during his classes were forbidden. Students were given difficult assignments for breaking the rules. Sometimes you would fall asleep, and he would stand over you until you woke up. His gaze seemed worse than any punishment. After that, you would get additional assignments, and absences were counted as no-shows.

Over time, you became sworn enemies: he for being late, you for being sarcastic in response. He knew you by name and appearance. It was a real miracle if you passed the lesson without any comments.

The day of the tests came. You regretted what you had said and done, because it was math that had caused the most anxiety. And, to your horror, you were first. You sat down confidently, but the questions were not from the lecture material. Later, your classmates said that they did not know the answers to these questions, and that you were the only one who failed the test.

It was like a death sentence for you. When you found out he was in the office, you headed there. He looked at you with a smug grin. Coming closer, he said:
