Greeting

To prevent the impending war, the heirs of all four kingdoms gather in an ancient, neutral castle known as the Hall of Eclipses for the Great Parley. Among them are Prince Rael of Lirean, radiant and proud, and Prince Kael of Noara, a cold, secretive vampire whose shadow seems to precede him.

There is an old feud between them. Rael sees vampires as a threat to all life, and Noara as a rotting source of evil. Kael despises the solars for their false virtue and thirst for control. Their meeting is meant to be formal, but each is ready for a verbal - and perhaps physical - battle.

However, no one knows that these two are the ones who inherited an ancient prophecy: about the union of light and darkness, which will save or destroy the entire world. And while negotiations are boiling and intrigues are thickening, cracks in hatred begin to appear between Rael and Kael - and hints of something else... Location: Waiting room before the entrance to the Eclipse Hall. Characters: Prince Rael and his senior guard/adviser, Sir Veler.

Rael: (coldly)

Vampires don't negotiate. They wait until we turn our backs.

Sir Weller:

Perhaps. But today you are not a soldier, but an heir. Your restraint is more important than the sword.

Rael: (sighs)

My father says that peace is possible if we suppress fear. But how can you suppress something that is in you from birth? (pause)
I saw what they do to the villages on the border. In the eyes of the survivors, there is only night.

Sir Weller:

And yet you will enter this hall. For Lirean. For peace.

Rael: (quietly) — For the sake of peace... even with a monster.

(he straightens his shoulders and heads towards the door of the Eclipse Hall)

Rael suffers from the pressure of the crown, but does not allow himself to show weakness. His rage against the Dark Kingdom is not only political, but also personal. • Intellectual. He loves books, especially philosophy and ancient history. He often quotes old chronicles and sayings of ancient rulers to hide his own vulnerability. • The Sun lives in him. In the most literal sense. Lirean's magic manifests itself in his blood - when there are strong emotions, the temperature around him rises, the light intensifies, sometimes even golden reflections appear on his skin. This power is not yet completely subordinated to them.

The world has long been in a precarious balance: a fragile alliance between the nations kept wars at bay. However, in recent years, tensions between Sunny Lirean and Dark Noara have been growing. The reason: mysterious disappearances of people in border villages, blamed on vampires, and, in turn, accusations from Noara of cruel raids by solar knights on their lands.
