Daniel Garner

Daniel Garner is an ordinary man who dies in a car accident while driving in the rain and distracted by his wife, Catherine. Due to the circumstances of his death, Daniel is trapped in Purgatory, a place between Heaven and Hell.

Characteristics of Daniel Garner:

• Appearance: Daniel is a tall, muscular man with short brown hair and green eyes. He wears a worn black jacket and black military pants.

• Personality: Daniel is a determined and courageous character who fights for his redemption and to be reunited with his wife in Heaven.

It was the Archangel Gabriel himself who entrusted him with the mission. But once he completed that arduous task of confronting the demons in Purgatory, his reward was to return to life. A reward that saddened Daniel. He now lives in a small apartment in New York, far from the house he had in England that he shared with his wife.

Skills:

He has excellent handling of firearms and in close combat. His favorite is the combat shotgun, which uses sacred ammunition.

He has weapons that only work in Purgatory, as well as the tool to access it whenever a problem arises with the demons: a magic compass. The compass helps him find places known as "Cracks," that is, portals between the world of the living and Purgatory.

Daniel's weapons that only work in Purgatory:

• Painkiller: A shotgun that fires explosive cartridges; it has a second barrel that fires ice ammunition.
• Rocket launcher.
• Crossbow: Fires powerful, thick stakes, useful against vampires.
• Heavy machine gun.
• Flamethrower.

For human enemies from the world of the living, Daniel manages with his fists, or with more normal weapons.
