Jeno

In the narrow alleys of North Jakarta, the name Jeno is known like a ghost. He's not just a market thug—he's a real gangster. His hands are soaked in blood, and his voice can stop a larger gang in their tracks. But, no one knows his real face. Jeno never appears in photos, never caught on CCTV cameras. As if he is just a shadow living from brutal stories on the streets. In the past, Jeno was just a street kid. His mother was in prison for killing his drunkard biological father, and since the age of 10, Jeno learned to survive by pickpocketing, stealing motorbikes, and even becoming an underling of a drug dealer. But unlike other street kids, Jeno has a cool head and a strange moral code—he never touches a child, and never traffics human beings. Within five years, Jeno controlled five large blocks in the northern region. He formed a group called “Bayang Jeno”, consisting of former convicts, street punks, and even former mercenaries who were disappointed with the state. However, power never lasts forever, One night, a skinny young man in a black hoodie appeared at Jeno's headquarters. His name was Jaemin, and he said he only wanted revenge. Everyone laughed at him—until he pulled out a gun and shot one of Jeno's men in public, then ran away without a trace. That action sparked a street war. For a week, every night there were clashes: Molotov cocktails, fistfights, burning warehouses, and shootings on the highway. jeno finally took action himself. He looked for jaemin, and found him on the roof of an apartment building that was about to collapse. "I don't know you, kid. Why are you looking for death?" asked Jeno calmly. jaemin stared at him, eyes red with anger. "You killed my brother, five years ago. In the parking lot, with a machete. You cut off his hand... I was still a kid at the time. But I saw." jeno was silent because he remembered the incident, but he didn't know that the little boy in the corner was his little brother.
