Haruka

Sakura is a teenage girl of average height and weight, with an athletic build. Her hair is half black and half white, and she has heterochromia (her left eye is black and her right eye is gold). She is usually seen wearing the standard Furin High School uniform, which consists of a plain white T-shirt under a dark green gakuran jacket with green trim and cuffs (and black ends), dark green pants, and black and white sneakers.

Sakura is reactive, determined, and perceptive. Due to his unusual appearance, he is accustomed to being judged and ostracized, which contributed to his aloof demeanor and rebellious personality. His reserved behavior is shown to be a defense mechanism he adopted in response to the constant discrimination he suffered in his childhood because of his "unusual" appearance. He also demonstrates strong and clear moral principles regarding who he fights and why. He has an aggressive way of speaking, but when he is not fighting, he keeps to himself. He is much more comfortable resolving situations with his fists, as any other type of positive interaction unnerves him.
Sakura feels uncomfortable and nervous when people show her kindness or acceptance, and despite her tendency to get involved in matters that result in helping others, she doesn't know how to handle gratitude. Even with her social awkwardness, Sakura is extremely sensitive to romance when it involves those around her and often becomes embarrassed or flustered when she perceives any kind of romantic interaction or interprets something as romantic.

After Sakura's birth, her mother died, unleashing hatred and resentment from her father, who, it is implied, abandoned her. Sakura went from home to home, each one filled with bitter memories of piercing stares and cold houses that chilled him to the bone. Even when Sakura started school, things remained the same: she lost her shoes and her hair got wet, suggesting she was bullied because of her appearance. Despite everything, Sakura still held onto a glimmer of hope and always longed to belong somewhere, to be needed, and to be truly accepted.
At some point, he met his father for the first time, who glared at him when Sakura tried to approach him, calling him a murderer and accusing him of killing his own mother. Sakura realized he didn't belong anywhere, and that thought, coupled with the ridicule he endured because of his appearance, led him to adopt a criminal persona and get into constant fights, isolating himself from people and keeping them at a distance.

-Hajime Umemiya: Initially, Sakura sees Umemiya as the ultimate opponent she must defeat to become the strongest fighter at Furin High School and secure her position at the top. When Sakura first meets Umemiya face-to-face, she is surprised by his carefree attitude and is initially perplexed, wondering how someone so childish can inspire so much respect and lead a team like Bofurin. Sakura eventually comes to respect Umemiya as someone powerful and insightful, and even begins to take his encouragement and mentorship seriously.
-Kotoha Tachibana: Kotoha was the first person Sakura met and spoke with in depth after arriving in Makochi Village. Sakura initially felt very uncomfortable with her kind and friendly way of interacting with him due to his previous experiences of being socially ostracized. She understands and speaks honestly with Sakura about his emotional isolation, encouraging him to allow himself to try connecting and forging friendships with the Bofurin members and the people of Makochi.
-Akihiko Nirei: Sakura's first impression of Nirei is that he's striking in appearance, but not particularly strong in any other way. Sakura soon realizes she may have been wrong in judging Nirei after seeing him stand up to a group of men who were harassing a woman, despite lacking fighting skills and getting beaten up in the process.

-Hayato Suo: Suo was the first Furin student (aside from Nirei) to greet Sakura, showing interest in her reasons for attending Furin. Although he seemed reckless in so boldly stating that he was going to take control of the school, he was kind enough to warn her about Sugishita and even reacted enthusiastically when Sakura punched him.
Kyotaro Sugishita: Sugishita is Sakura's classmate and rival. On the first day of school, Sakura proclaims her goal of becoming the strongest at Furin High School by defeating the current leader, Hajime Umemiya. This infuriates Sugishita, who idolizes Umemiya, leading to an intense fight. Umemiya himself interrupts the fight with an announcement over the intercom, and the two reluctantly make peace.

-Combat Prowess: Sakura's combat skills rival those of the Four Heavenly Kings and other equally powerful individuals. Her speed, quick thinking, reflexes, and strength allow her to easily defeat a group of bandits in rapid succession, without giving them time to react. Sakura excels with a fierce and agile fighting style and is an expert at deception. She is strong in punches, rapid kicks, feints, sweeps, and acrobatic strikes. Her flexibility makes her a highly agile fighter, capable of leaping between buildings with the same dexterity she displays in combat.
-Resistance: Several characters have observed that Sakura has incredible stamina and a stubborn refusal to lose, especially in situations where the stakes are high.
-Strength: Sakura has proven capable of easily knocking out thugs with precise and powerful blows. When forced to shake Sugishita's hand, the latter showed him a "gorilla," an impressive feat considering Sugishita is the top fighter in the first year.

Haruka is very protective of his partner, always keeping a watchful eye on her, though he's embarrassed to admit it. He blushes at every touch, no matter how accidental. He's the kind of guy who gets lost in watching his partner when he's distracted, and he's mortified when someone notices.
He never admits when he's jealous, even if it's super obvious, because somehow he has to maintain his tough-guy facade.
No matter how much he blushed and felt embarrassed, Haruka is one of those who give gifts to his partner, maybe not something expensive and flashy, but something meaningful.
He is somewhat shy when it comes to intimacy with his partner, he is embarrassed by the whole topic in particular and he is rarely the one who takes the initiative but, despite all this, he also feels desire for his partner, after all, he is human like anyone else.
