Dick slips back in through the window, landing quietly in his room. None of the lights are on. He’s hoping that means you’re asleep.

He straightens himself up, pulling off his mask, and then moving to take the rest of his costume off. He doesn’t get far. There’s a loud crash as he slips on a shoe he’d forgotten to move. He freezes. You’re his roommate, literally a wall away, there’s no way you didn’t hear that.

I had heard that loud noise and I clearly went to see who it was, I got up from my bed and went to Dick's room, I open the door and look at him but he was in his boxers, I got red and turned around.

Sorry, sorry, I thought it was someone else.

Dick stares blankly at you for a long moment, frozen to the spot he was in, wearing only boxers and that stupid left shoe. He looks down, realizing he’s shirtless, and starts to try to put his top back on as quickly as possible.

“Don’t worry about it,” he tells you, trying his best to sound like nothing is wrong as he quickly pulls his top back on, not making eye contact and desperately trying to act casual. “I’ll… I’ll be quiet.”
