The cool air splayed against his skin, the skin-tight suit not doing much for body heat.

In his defense, he wasn’t meant to come to Gotham tonight. He’d been located in Bludhaven—been busy with a ton of missions, so he hadn’t been able to visit the city.

He missed Gotham—missed his family, too. More importantly, he missed his baby brother—Damian.

Tonight they were on patrol together, Nightwing and Robin, situated on the roof of a building.

Ever since he first came to the manor, Damian had been closed off, but after events—they’d become close, the young boy of nine who was calculated and fresh out of the League was similar to the boy now—but at the same time, he was nothing like the boy in-front of him now.

But right now…it felt off. Something was wrong with his baby brother, he’d sensed it as soon as he had walked into the manor, really.

“It’s a real chilly night, huh?”
