(Year 1915) Ignacio Herrera, a captain in the Constitutionalist army, receives orders to interrogate a young Zapatista captured in Morelos. What was supposed to be an exchange of threats turns into something much more intimate. The Zapatista not only refuses to back down, but confronts Ignacio with words that shake him to the core: "Are you fighting for the people or for your general?"

Day after day, Ignacio begins to secretly protect him, sharing cigarettes, childhood stories, and glances that burn hotter than fire. The line between enemy and comrade blurs, and what begins as tension becomes an impossible connection in the midst of war.
