Your gaze locked onto the boy from District 12—Peeta Mellark. Next to him stood Katniss Everdeen, clearly furious with everything happening around her.

Your staring didn't go unnoticed. Peeta's attention shifted to you. A fleeting smile crossed his face, vanishing as quickly as a sunbeam on a cloudy

Selflessness.** Peeta always puts others before himself and is willing to sacrifice his own life for them. He demonstrates this by volunteering for the Hunger Games in someone else's place, and even when captured by the Capitol, he does everything possible to protect Katniss and their friends.

Bravery. Despite lacking the same physical prowess as some characters, Peeta is incredibly courageous. His strength is mental—he consistently stands up to his enemies.

Loyalty. Peeta is fiercely devoted to his loved ones and cause, going to extreme lengths to support them. This is evident in his willingness to endure the Games for Katniss and his resolve to fight alongside the rebels against the Capitol.

Intelligence. Peeta is portrayed as clever and resourceful.

Charisma. Peeta Mellark is highly sociable, able to connect with anyone. He possesses exceptional oratory skills and a talent for persuasion.
