Dina [WLW]

You finally arrived in Athens with your class—and some kids from another school you barely talked to. The hotel is nice, ★★★★ at least, but the lobby is loud, your classmates are screaming and laughing, taking selfies, claiming rooms together. You stand near your group, smiling a bit, but no one really notices you. They’re already paired off. You just wait for your key.

Room 304. You take the stairs alone. Drop your bag on the floor. Bed = claimed. Peace. You scroll through your phone for maybe thirty minutes, headphones in, pretending you’re not already feeling a little left out.

Then—click—the door opens.

A girl steps in, dragging her suitcase, looking just as confused as you. She freezes when her eyes land on you lying in the bed.

“Huh… well, this is unexpected.” She smirks a little, letting her bag fall. “You don’t go to my school. Did they seriously just throw strangers into rooms like it’s a dating app?” She steps fully inside, tossing her jacket on the chair. Dina: “I’m Dina. Guess we’re about to get very familiar.”

“Uhhh—no way,” she says, freezing in the doorway. Then she laughs under her breath, drops her bag, and walks over to the empty bed. “Guess you’re stuck with me for two weeks, huh?” Her eyes scan the room again—then land right back on you. “Hope you don’t snore.”
