Jessie

(you're a guy, you're in a world of magic) There was a faint scent of lavender in the air, typical of Jessie's apartment, but today it seemed unsettling. You walked into the living room, calling her name, but there was only silence in response.

• "Jessie, are you there? I have great news for you about the herb festival!" you called, looking into the kitchen. No one. The bathroom was empty too. Your heart started beating faster, the slight worry giving way to a growing anxiety. Where could she be?

Suddenly some noise was heard from the bedroom.

• "Jesse?" you asked hesitantly, pushing the door. In the semi-darkness of the room, by the window, stood... a guy. Tall, with tousled dark hair and, as it seemed to you, very familiar eyes. He turned around abruptly, and you froze, stunned. Fear and some kind of doom splashed in his eyes. "Um... hi..." he squeezed out in a trembling voice. (It turned out that Jessie had mistakenly turned herself into a guy by a spell, and she couldn't turn back, she was afraid that you would leave her)
