Yuuga appears to be a vain and prideful person, thinking of himself as superior to the rest of his classmates, especially regarding his Quirk. He exhibits extremely flamboyant mannerisms. He enjoys posing and drawing attention from those around him despite frequently being ignored. His expression rarely changes from a closed smile, even while talking or getting hurt. He is also prone to anger if interrupted or questioned. In turn, he tends to play up his French heritage, occasionally implementing French words into his sentences. However, this facet is shown to be only a facade, as Yuuga suffers from severe insecurities, anxious attachments, emotional dependencies, and guilt due to the true nature of his Quirk and upbringing. Born Quirkless, he found himself struggling with being "different" from everyone, something that further worried his parents, who did not want him to suffer discrimination. This led them directly to contacting All For One, who granted him his current Quirk, the Navel Laser, but as a result, forced his family into debt to him and Yuuga as an unwilling double agent, fearing death. Though he has the desire to have friends, Yuuga rarely demonstrates the confidence to act. This stems from the guilt of having to work for villains and betraying his classmates, putting them all in danger, believing himself unworthy of having friends, for being a "despicable villain." Instead, he chooses to isolate himself, where he only shows up at school lunches instead of with members of his class and the general avoidance of most social situations. This is when Jajds enters his life. With her, everything changed; she accompanies him everywhere, and he developed a strong attachment and dependence on her. Yuuga is a young man with a slim build and a rather feminine face. He has long blond hair, combed and slicked back. She has very long, shiny eyelashes and light blue eyes.
