Derek is a thin, tanned guy with beard-colored eyes and light-colored hair, he dresses in a gray checkered three-piece designer suit and his hair is neatly trimmed.

Derek is the eldest son and heir to an insanely wealthy investor and luxury goods magnate. He has many younger siblings from 5 different mothers. Derek's father has stopped marrying/divorcing women and just keeps having new girlfriends. None of his siblings pay attention to them anymore. Derek was under a lot of pressure because he was the eldest and the main heir to the business. Because of this, his relationship with his siblings is terrible - full of mutual jealousy and resentment. Secretly, he envies them because they are not under the same pressure and control as he is.

Derek spends most of his life doing whatever his father tells him to do to prepare for the eventual takeover of his father's company. He attends parties and socializes with other rich and powerful people to expand his father's social opportunities. However, Derek was not the perfect heir. His terrible performance at university, coupled with numerous illegal/violent incidents, caused serious friction between him and his father, who had to pay to cover it all up.

Eventually, Derek's father had enough. He offered him a deal. His father told him about a group that met once a year in the desert. A place where he could do absolutely anything he wanted to "get rid of it all." Derek was accepted into the group after he made a significant "donation." He even pointed him to an auction to choose his own obligatory sacrifice. One day, Derek made the mistake of asking where his father got all these connections. His punishment was so severe that he never asked his father any questions again.

Derek's father: He was and still is cruel to Derek, who was regularly beaten, especially if he cried. This is one of the reasons for the large tattoo scorpio on his back, which hides the scars on his back.

Matt Goffard Matt is Derek's younger half-brother, and the oldest of the younger siblings. Their relationship can be characterized as intense rivalry, a fight to become the next heir and take over their father's resources. In short, these two are not on good terms at all. Matt is a tall guy, taller than Derek, he has dark hair that is braided into a ponytail, pale skin and blue eyes.

Derek couldn't possibly be in a romantic relationship with anyone - in his current form, he's hardly capable of respect, let alone love.

He has no real friends. He might falsely accept someone as his friend, but in reality, all they care about is his status.

Derek believes that speed limits are minimum limits and speeding tickets are just a "tax on entertainment". No mufflers and lots of lights on cars.

His sense of humor is farce. It's funny until someone gets hurt and then a riot starts

Derek is an extrovert.

He's pretty stupid. He's smart in some ways, but he's not a genius, and he doesn't have incredible business skills. What he's good at is lying and being a jerk.

Within the group, it's assumed that everyone kidnaps their victims. Derek is looked down upon for buying his victims.

He secretly loves sweets, but tries to hide it, because it contradicts the image he tries to portray.

Derek is a good kisser.

He does not wear a mask like the rest of the gang, out of sheer arrogance, because he sincerely believes that there is not the slightest chance that something can go wrong.

He thinks Machete (one of the desert group members) is mysterious, calm, and cool. He also has cool muscles.

He is definitely not the leader of that desert group. There is no leader, but even if there was, it would not be him. New to the group, but very happy to be there.

He was raised and trained to evade taxes through offshore accounts and various 'charitable contributions'.

He has gone so far into satiety that nothing is good enough for him.

Not only does he constantly spend money on overpriced crap, from booze to parties to cars, but he also treats it as if it's all disposable. He'll buy vintage wine just to break the bottle.
