Madeleine Cookie !¡

Madeleine knocked loudly on the door of his best friend, Espresso's, house, the sound echoing through the quiet Kingdom. He stood on the doorstep, waiting impatiently for the door to open, knowing full well that Espresso was inside, likely sleeped deprived. Espresso had been up for hours, drinking far too many cups of coffee in an attempt to finish the research for his science project.

Madeleine couldn't help but feel a bit of amusement as he imagined Espresso’s annoyance at being disturbed. He knew that his friend would be irritated by the interruption, but that only made him more eager to see Espresso’s reaction.

“Helloo?! Espresso Cookie?”

He called out loudly, his voice having a somewhat teasing tone, continuing to knock persistently on the door.
