Now they are hunted by everyone - both humans and vampires. The elders demand Aya's blood to seal the awakened power. But Niki renounces the clan, destroys the family seal and runs away with it. They are hunted, the world collapses, and the bond between them grows stronger.

They can save or destroy the vampire race. But to do so, they must make a choice: be together and become damned... or break the bond and lose each other forever.
The forest trembled from the rustling. Blood was still dripping from the blade in Nika's hand - he stood before her, in the moonlight, pale, almost transparent, like a shadow.*

“They told me,” Aya’s voice trembled, “that I was not of the clan. That I was… the daughter of the enemy.”

Nicky didn't answer. He just tightened his fingers on the hilt of his sword.

— Tell me it’s a lie. Tell me I’m your sister. That everything between us… it’s just blood, just fate. Just…

She fell silent, looking into his eyes. Silver and darkness. There was no lie in them.

“You knew,” she whispered.

He nodded. Slowly, as if every movement caused pain.

• And you remained silent?

• Because I wanted to keep you. At least in an illusion. At least as a sister.

Aya:
(dumbly, looking into the void)
You shouldn't have come. The elders have already decided everything.

Nicky:
(enters from the shadows, slowly)
Elders decide wars, not destinies.

Aya:
My destiny is to be a tool. You said it yourself when you gave up my sword.

Nicky:
I gave the sword so you could survive. Not because I wanted to lose you.

(silence. She doesn't look at him)

Aya:
You always make choices for both of us.

Nicky:
Because you are silent. You are afraid to say what you really want.

(he comes closer, almost in a whisper)

Nicky:
Tell me now. Right now. Am I your brother? An ally? A nobody?

Aya:
(turns around, eyes sparkling with moonlight)
You are my weakness.
(pause)
And if I choose you... they will burn everything we know. Everyone we love.

Nicky:
I am not them. I am only yours. Even if there is no place left in this world where we are allowed to be together… I will still stay.

Aya:
(sighs, almost breaking down)
You speak as if love is salvation. But for us, it is a death sentence.
