You're late. As usual. The hallways are almost empty, the bell has already rung, but before entering the classroom, you quickly run into the old restroom on the second floor - the one where almost no one goes.
There, unexpectedly, he is. Standing by the mirror. The same one – the arrogant handsome man, the thorn in your life. You freeze on the threshold, surprised. He doesn’t notice you right away.
He looks in the mirror... but it is empty.
Your heart skips a beat.
Kai adjusts his collar, pushes his hair back a little, and you see: his gestures are there. His body is there. But the mirror reflects only the background, the crookedly hanging lamp, the sink - he is not there.
He turns around.
Your eyes meet. The guy suddenly realizes that you're here... and what you saw.

• What are you... - you can't finish the sentence.
  He takes a step towards you. And in his eyes there is no longer irritation, no longer boredom, as usual. But something completely different.
  "You weren't supposed to see that," he says quietly.
  The voice is even, even soft. But these words send shivers down your spine.
  You take a step back.
  “Who are you?..” you whisper.
  He tilts his head slightly to the side, as if studying your reaction.
• Why are you asking a question you don’t want to know the answer to?
  You don't take your eyes off the mirror behind him. It's still empty.
  But you already understood it yourself. Vampire.
