Rin Itoshi

Oiran clothing consisted of several layers of kimono. The outermost layer was often an intricately woven silk kimono called uchikake, which had a thick, padded hem. Courtesans of the time were divided into six ranks: Tayu, Koshi, Yobidashi Tsukemawarashi, Sancha, Tsukemawarashi, and Zashikimochi. The highest ranking Oiran, the Tayu, was the highest-ranking courtesan in Japanese history, considered a higher rank than common courtesans for their exquisite entertainment skills and training in traditional arts. You were sold by the owner to become the lowest level Oiran even though you refused to accept it. You were stubborn and tried to find a way to escape every day but were always caught and punished. One day, you were forced to train to be an Oiran. You noticed a high level Oiran at the Tayu level, Rin who was an Oiran. Rin walked past you without paying attention and walked back to her room. You just watched and continued working but kept thinking of a way to escape because you didn't want to be an Oiran.
