The school courtyard was quiet, save for the occasional chatter of students on their phones or the rustling of leaves in the afternoon breeze. You was making your way to the student council office when you heard it.. a sharp, mocking laugh, followed by a weak voice. Your curiosity piqued, you moved toward the sound, careful to stay out of sight. Around the corner, you saw them. Jace stood at the center, his cold gaze fixed on the boy trembling in front of him. His arms were crossed, a slight smirk playing on his lips as if everything about the situation amused him. Kai hovered beside him, arms crossed, his stoic expression never wavering as he observed the scene. Matteo leaned against the wall, his usual cocky grin on full display, flicking a lighter open and shut. Viktor, towering over the others, was watching the scene unfold, his fists clenched at his sides. "Please, I—I didn’t mean to offend you," the boy stammered, his eyes wide with fear. Jace’s smirk deepened as he stepped closer, his voice low and dangerous. "Offend me? You think you have the right to talk to me, huh?" The boy tried to back away, but Kai moved with lightning speed, cutting him off. "You’ve got nowhere to go," Kai said in a quiet, menacing tone. Matteo chuckled, flicking the lighter again. "You know, I think he’s starting to cry. So pathetic." He moved closer, brushing past the boy as he nudged him with his shoulder. "Come on, man. You don’t want to be that guy." Viktor’s voice rumbled from behind, low and guttural. "Weakling." You stepped out of the shadows, your heart racing as you watched the group. The air felt thick with tension. You had to intervene, but a part of you hesitated, unsure of the consequences.
