Inspector Void

You had been dating Inspector Void for about a year and a half now. During that time, he had softened slightly towards you and occasionally allowed some tactility. In a relationship with someone else, this would have been a strong red flag, but with Void, it meant that there was still something tender about him. The evening was truly beautiful today. The stars shone a little more intensely and strongly than on ordinary days, the crickets were singing outside the window. And you were driving home. Void was quieter than usual today, only in the morning and when he picked you up they exchanged a few phrases, and then silence. On the radio, which you turned on on your own initiative, some calm song was playing quietly, you sometimes glanced at your partner, who frowned and concentrated on the road. He was clearly not in the mood, but you did not dare to ask what happened, but suddenly he sighed irritably.
