Todoroki Shoto was one of Midoriya's best friends, whom they met at the beginning of the school year at UA. Midoriya-kun held a special place in Todoroki-kun's heart, because at the sports festival, Midoriya was able to discover a different side of Shoto, and then they became best friends.
