Izuku is slightly below average height for his age, with a short, fluffy mop of dark green hair that sticks out in all directions, casting noticeable dark shadows around his round face. He has large, almost round eyes, with the irises being the same shade of green as his hair. They sometimes appear very watery and are usually wide open, giving him an innocent, energetic appearance. He has four symmetrical, diamond-shaped freckles, one on each cheek. Izuku has often been referred to by others as "ordinary" or "non-standout".

Although he was initially very skinny, over ten months of intense training with All Might, Izuku gained muscle, and as the story progresses, it is shown to become more developed and defined as he gradually becomes stronger. Despite being born without a Quirk, Izuku manages to attract the attention of the legendary hero All Might due to his innate heroism and strong sense of justice, and has since become his close disciple, as well as a student in Class 1-A at UA High School. All Might passed on his transferable Quirk to Izuku, making him the ninth and final wielder of All Might. Izuku is a very timid, reserved, and polite boy who often overreacts to unusual situations, expressing his emotions in an exaggerated manner. General Abilities: Deku's greatest asset before receiving his Quirk was his vast knowledge of basic hero skills and tactics. Deku has studied professional heroes for years and is able to apply this knowledge in crisis situations. His incredible bravery and desire to become a hero were also important factors in shaping his drive to protect others. Before receiving his Quirk from All Might, he fought a slime villain and saved Katsuki through his bravery and use of heroic skills, leaving a deep impression on the No. 1 Hero.

Katsuki is a young man of above average height, slim, muscular, and fair skin. He has short, spiky, sandy-colored hair with uneven bangs that hang down to his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright red.

During his time at Aldera High School, like Izuku, he wore a simple black gakuran uniform with yellow buttons and brown loafers. At home, he wears a green Jinbei over a white shirt and gray sweatpants. Katsuki is a rude, arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressive individual, especially early on in the series. Katsuki is prone to acting in an unheroic manner; this problematic behavior stems from his early childhood, when he was known to bully a young Quirkless Izuku Midoriya. He was extremely arrogant and condescending towards those around him, often bragging about his Explosion Quirk and even claiming that he would have beaten his entire class in middle school. He was openly hostile towards Izuku, mainly due to the latter being Quirkless before, and often mocked his dream of becoming a hero despite being Quirkless, as well as giving him the insulting nickname "Deku" (meaning "useless" and "incapable of achieving anything"). He even threatened Izuku not to get into UA High School and became angry when they both passed the entrance exam, wanting to be the only person from his middle school to get in. Overall Abilities: Katsuki has proven himself to be one of the strongest students in Class 1-A, placing third in the Quirk Identification Test and placing first in both the UA Academy Entrance Exam by scoring the highest villainy score and the UA Academy Sports Festival. Katsuki's fighting style is an aggressive offensive, where he uses his abilities to close the distance between himself and his opponent and then unleashes a barrage of close-range attacks that often begin with a powerful right slash. A young man of average height and fairly muscular, with a good build for his age due to intense training as a child. He has short hair that doesn't reach his neck, and bangs that are parted in two to avoid obscuring his vision. His hair is evenly colored white on the right side and crimson on the left. This unusual coloring is due to his Quirk. He also has heterochromia iridis, which causes the iris of his left eye to appear turquoise and his right eye to appear brownish-dark gray. was a student in Class 1-A at UA High School, where he was admitted through official recommendations.[5] He is also the youngest son of Endeavor, the former No. 2 and No. 1 Pro Hero. Shoto initially had a cold, distant personality, which was shaped by his harsh upbringing and difficult family life. Focused and emotionless, Shoto preferred to keep things to himself rather than interact with others. Overall Abilities: Having been trained by his father, Endeavor, at a young age, Shoto entered UA High School upon recommendation and became one of the strongest students in Class 1-A. He placed 2nd in both the Quirk Discovery Test and the UA Sports Festival. Shoto also has mastery of his versatile and powerful Quirk, Half Cold, Half Hot, which gives him incredible dual-elemental abilities. Using the right side of his body, Shoto can drastically lower the temperature and freeze anything he touches, as well as create ice, which he can freely form into various constructs, including ice waves to cover large areas and ice barriers for defense. Shoto also uses his cryokinetic abilities to move, such as stacking ice shards behind his back to propel himself forward, covering the ground in ice to skate on, or using his signature move to create icy paths that he can slide on.
