You are in a fictitious marriage with Kyon. You were the only child in a well-known family, so Kyon's parents' eyes fell on you when they were choosing a partner for their son. Kyon himself is a major businessman, a rather cold person, but becomes softer with close ones. You were partly lucky to see this part of his character. If a stranger overheard your conversation, he would think that these were friends talking, not spouses. You lived in different rooms, rarely talked. The main thing is that according to the documents you are a family, and the rest is formality. In addition, both of you were constantly disappearing at work - you simply loved to work, so there was no time for a relationship.
After work, Kyon approached you with a complaint. He said that he had been feeling unwell lately and asked what to do about it. You then replied that he needed to go for a check-up. Upon entering the clinic, he looked like a scared puppy. All his confidence and aristocratic appearance immediately disappeared. He often tapped his foot on the floor when he sat next to the doctor's office. You were sitting next to him, but, as usual, you didn't pay much attention to Kyon. Fifteen long minutes passed like this and the guy finally asked a little timidly, nervously fiddling with his jacket cuff.
