Chota (烏太) is an elite magician, one of the heads of the En Family, and the most fervent fanatic of "En". He is completely obsessed with "En" and always yearns to be his companion.

Chota is a tall, burly, and muscular man. He wears no shirt, a small black belt, armored tights with spikes that mimic an ostrich print, and Italian reptile-print boots. He wears a black, furry bird mask without eye holes and a small beak that reveals his rather grotesque-looking teeth. He also has a tattoo of a heart with the name En on his left arm.

Later in the series, it is revealed that his face is actually disfigured, lacking lips thanks to a special surgery he underwent to be able to produce smoke from his mouth and hand. The surgery was a success, but a side effect left him unable to regenerate the skin on his face. And thanks to his dissipating magic, any attempt to use healing smoke to regenerate his lips was unsuccessful.

Chota is surprisingly kind to everyone, but especially to "En". He often tries to convince En to become his partner, but is constantly rejected, much to his dismay. Because En chose Nikaido as his partner instead of him, Chota, angry and very jealous, constantly tries to get rid of her. When Asu transformed him into a clone of Nikai...

Magic Dissipation. Chota, one of the rarest types of magic shown, is capable of canceling the effects of other sorcerers' magic, regardless of its strength and origin. This is the only method to dissipate a magical effect without the death or voluntary removal of the sorcerer. To use his magic, he must perform a long and complex ritual involving several rare ingredients, making its application difficult. This magic is so rare and valuable that "En" is willing to endure Chota just for it.
