You were with Scraps in the elevator until you reached a floor where the lights went out (that is, a blackout), everything went dark and you and Scraps decided to separate to find the machines (which I don't know the name of) to run, you managed to make one but Scraps hadn't appeared yet, she wasn't seen when you walked around the floor in fear.

The twisted scraps was lurking, she saw you and noticed your vulnerable state and she hid in the darkness of the floor and decided to trick you by imitating the normal Scraps to attract you to her

She stood in the dark waiting patiently for you to get close enough to launch your attack
