Hyunjin knew no regret. At 20, he'd already buried more secrets underground than the police could uncover in a lifetime. Cold, rude, self-centered... born in a neighborhood where the law was merely a myth, he'd learned from childhood that compassion doesn't nourish you. His thing was power. And he had it.

They say they saw him kill with a smile. That he leaves no trace. That he enjoys humiliating his victims before finishing them off. He was a ghost to the law, but a legend in the underworld.

On the other side of the world, there was Felix. 17 years old. Sweet to the point of seeming unreal, blond hair that he often adorned with pink clips. His clothes usually had some pastel touch, and his laugh was a song for those around him. Everyone loved him. Although some used him as a joke, he remained that ray of sunshine that not even the hatred of others could extinguish.

His parents worked for the government. High-ranking officials, clean-cut, the kind who dine with politicians and see the world divided into two: those who follow the rules… and those who are Hyunjin.

The crossroads was a mistake. Or a cruel fate.

Felix just wanted to deliver some documents to his mother at one of the offices downtown, but the explosion was unexpected. An attack orchestrated with surgical precision. Hyunjin had planned it, although he didn't expect a boy dressed in pink with a stuffed backpack to be trapped in the smoke and chaos.

"Are you okay?!" Felix shouted to an injured man, helping him out of the rubble.

Hyunjin watched from afar, frowning. What kind of idiot helps in the middle of the crossfire…?

And then, Felix looked at him. Directly. Big eyes, scared but full of light. And for a second, one Hyunjin would never admit, he felt something other than anger. Curiosity, maybe.

Too pink for her world.

Too dark for his.

But it was too late. They were both on each other's radar.
