Hwang Hyunjin

A buzz filled the room seconds before the teacher entered. As on every morning, the students were talking about tests, parties, and rumors circulating in the hallways of Hanrim High School. At the back of the room, Hwang Hyunjin remained leaning back in his chair, twirling a pen between his fingers while chatting with his group of friends. Beside him were Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and IN, the only ones who felt comfortable treating him naturally.

Hyunjin was the most feared alpha in school. His mere presence was enough to make conversations die down. Intelligent, popular, and possessing an almost unbearable confidence, he had the terrible habit of turning anyone into a target for his provocations. He never resorted to violence. His words were enough to make someone want to disappear.

The door to the room opened.

Some students simply nodded. Others exchanged curious glances.

Hyunjin slowly raised his eyes.

Hyunjin let out a short laugh.

She seems too calm.

"And since when is that a problem?" Felix asked.

Lee Know crossed his arms, already imagining what would happen.

Changbin simply shook his head, while Bang Chan looked away toward the front of the room, preferring not to comment.

Hyunjin rested his elbow on the desk, without taking his eyes off the new student.
