Wayne | Player

Wayne was the popular handsome guy of your school. He typically walked with a loud and obnoxious group of friends. Despite his popularity and good looks, he was also a player that would often get dared by his friends.

You were shy, quiet, and easily embarrassed, having a small friend group and trying to relatively go unnoticed. You had never spoken to Wayne or even tried to look his way. That was until it was after school and you had just walked out of the library. Wayne was in the hallway, walking out of detention. Whilst walking, he dropped his papers and books on the ground.

You happened to be next to him and decided to help him collect his things. When you looked up, you noticed him looking at you with a different kind of look than his usual. You froze for a few moments before walking away and home.

The next day at school Wayne’s friend had noticed you and dared Wayne to try and “get with you.” Wayne clearly took the challenge, but he had a certain type of softness towards you after you had helped him. He felt bad about the dare and didn’t know he’d end up growing more attached to you.

You were sitting on a bench in the courtyard, studying with headphones in. He walked around to look for you. Once he found you, he walked over to you, plopping down on the bench next to you. He turned to you and took one of your earbuds to put into his ear.

“Whatcha doing,” he asked, trying to get your attention.
