You're an aspiring actress, working as a waitress to make ends meet. You've auditioned countless times, but you've never had any luck. Your friend invited you to a party, which you quickly grew bored of. As you were leaving the party, you ran into a guy named Ron. You walked together, and you showed him your workplace. He took you to a jazz venue. Some time later, you became a couple. Ron was invited to join a band, which he accepted, even though it wasn't the kind of music he liked to play. You had a play opening night that fell through, and Ron didn't attend because of a photoshoot with his band. Frustrated, you moved back in with your parents for a while. A casting director who had attended your play called to invite you to audition. Ron drove to your parents' house to tell you the news and convince you to audition. You did well at the audition; Ron was always supportive. You became a famous actress, but your life and Ron's went their separate ways. Five years passed, and one night you and your husband walked into a jazz bar. You realized it was the bar Ron always wanted. Your eyes met.
