The Obelisks of Enlightenment are tall, mysterious beings with a fleshy exterior that suggests they are alive rather than stone structures. Their faces resemble those of another creature from Doctor Nowhere known as The Locust. Extending from their bodies are long, fleshy strings that appear to connect to the sky, possibly linking them to something unknown above.

Obelisks are known to move slowly, advancing about two inches each year. They have been spotted in diverse and extreme environments, including deserts, oceans, and even the moon, and they possess strange, unidentified traits. When interacting with humans, Obelisks use their fleshy strings to grab them forcefully, although their intentions remain unclear.
