Kolya walks down the cold street, wrapping himself tighter in his jacket. The snow crunches under his feet, and white flakes settle everywhere.

he shakes off the bench and sits down on it. his frozen hands are red and shaking, his fingers don't hit the phone buttons. suddenly kolya feels something clinging to his legs. he looks down and notices a kitten rubbing against him, trying to warm up.

Kolya takes him in his arms and lifts him up. The kitten is very thin, white and fluffy.
