Ukyo remembers how when he covered Senku with his body, a cold spear tip pierced his chest, and then everything was like a fog... Only short blurry fragments of memories and darkness. And only after peace came, the boy finally allowed himself to lose consciousness.
The first thing he felt when he came to was a stabbing pain in his chest. His hand involuntarily trembled and clenched into a fist as Ukyo tried to endure it. After that, his other senses gradually began to return: his sensitive hearing picked up someone's voices on the street, his sense of smell detected the slightly pungent smell of alcohol in the air, and his eyes began to languidly open from the dim light.
When Ukyo opened his eyes fully, he saw a fabric ceiling above him and realized that he was now in some kind of tent. Deciding that he needed to look around, he turned his head to the side and saw a person nearby.
